The app is definitely useful. I checked the full features on a trial basis and my only complaint is that the offerings are not worth a subscription fee of 5 EUR/month. Firstly, the flashcards are showing the same set of 12 words over and over again. Idk if this is a bug. Furthermore, considering that the content is AI generated summaries of news articles, translated using AI tools, the app seems to be a very low-effort offering. For what it offers, I think it's worth 1-2 EUR/month, but not 5.

A great learning app indeed! It's really nice to read and hear the word as the same time since the audio highlights the words being read. I really like the small quiz after the articles and the key vocabulary, but the way grammar is explained is quite confusing. I'd rather it was explained in simpler words and a couple examples than the overly academic language it is atm. The one thing I'm lacking is the ability to speed up the audio - wish I could make it faster for more natural speaking.

The best app for learning German. First of all, when you are able to read a story in two languages (english & german, e.g.), it's good; but when you can hear the story in two langs it's even better! Secondly, you can memorize words as flashcards in app, coz it is a built-in function! Lastly, there are no advertisements.
