TO CONFUSING. Choose what content that you want to see and then it just keeps telling you to discover more but never actually gives you anything to look at.

I'm someone who's trying to quit addictive mainstream social media like Facebook and Instagram, and Vero is exactly what I was looking for. No ads, no algorithms, no endless scrolling. Just a clean, respectful space where I can share and explore at my own pace. For anyone who wants a healthier alternative to traditional social media, this is the platform. Highly recommended for mindful users and digital minimalists.

I've had the app since 2018 (on android), and it had issues but still solid and different from IG. Better quality photos and UI. However, a new release for Android entirely came out after years of work, supposedly – and it's significantly worse. Vero only works on ios/apple. No longer can I see the sample tracks of songs I post, or even movie descriptions from anyone else's posts. I don't know how they managed to make it worse. Community is almost nonexistent unless you're a photographer.
